This explanation is about No.1. ( About No.2 is explained in Skills Hub)

Skills Graph

Skills Graph is a knowledge graph that helps you check your and your colleagues’ knowledge systems. Acquiring skills is serendipitous and innovative in nature. Each individual has their own unique story and context. Tell your story through the skills graph and get ready for your next creative endeavor.

  1. Click “See more” in “My Skills Graph”.

  1. Click “Add skil” in “My Skills Graph”.

  1. Enter your skill name in the field.
  1. Fill in the skill details. Once everything is set, click “Save.”
  • Status: Are you still using this skill in your work?
  • Experience: How long have you used or had been using this skill?
  • Links: An edge to other skills (Blank on first use.)
  1. Enjoy building your skills graph!

Register your skills through Self Review

If some user with Manager or Admin role has issued a Self Review, you can create your Skill Graph simply by selecting skills from the template. An active Self Review should be displayed in the top left of the dashboard. Click “Respond” to begin answering.

Your organization’s skill template should be displayed. Add your distinctive skills by clicking Add to my skill.

“Add Skill” interface is the same as when adding skills freely in Skills Graph.

  • Status: Are you still using this skill in your work?
  • Experience: How long have you used or had been using this skill?
  • Links: An edge to other skills (Blank on first use.)

When you have completed the review, finish by clicking Complete survey at bottom. Don’t worry if the review takes time. You can pause and resume anytime using Finish later. (Even if you accidentally click “Complete survey”, you can still Retake it!)

NOTE: You cannot reset your response status. If you want to delete added skills, you can delete them either from Self Review > Edit skill of the corresponding skill, or from Skills Graph.

Now the foundation of your Skills Graph is now complete. Let’s add more layers to your unique experiences!

Endorse coworkers’ skills via Peer Review

Someone may have issued a Peer Review request. Let’s reveal your colleagues’ detailed skills that are hidden behind their actions through the Peer Review in the top right of the dashboard.

At Peer Review, you will just tag what the reviewee can achieve with a particular skill (Action tags). This is all what you do in Peer Review.

Hint: Some skills might be unfamiliar to you - in such cases, please don’t feel pressured to add tags. Zipteam keeps a record of who added which tags. In other words, the system is designed from the ground up so that skill quality is verified through endorsements from qualified experts. (Although your conscientiousness and thoughtfulness are admirable!)

When you have completed the review, finish by clicking Complete survey at bottom.

NOTE: Unlike Self Review, once a Peer Review survey is marked as Completed, you cannot retake it.

Specifications

  • Zipteam treats self-assessments and peer evaluations as data with different characteristics. Responses to Self Reviews and skills added by yourself will be displayed in the skills graph, but results from Peer Reviews and Assessments will not be shown in the skills graph.

  • The maximum number of skills that can be added in Skills Graph (Self Review) is 30 for Freemium licence and 100 for Starter and Enterprise licence.

NOTE: As the number of skills increases, the graph may become complicated. Please refer to this guide for measures to maintain visibility.
