This feature needs an active Enterprise License.

Overview

This feature limits login access to specific IP addresses or ranges for a given workspace, reducing the risk of unauthorized access and enhancing the organization’s security posture.

IP restrictions are particularly useful for organizations that require access only from trusted networks, such as corporate offices or secure VPNs. Once configured, only users connecting from the whitelisted IP addresses will be able to access the designated workspace.

Users outside these ranges will still be able to reach Zipteam itself, but access to your restricted workspace will be denied.

Requirements

  • An active Enterprise license
  • Admin role of your workspace

How to Set Up IP Restriction

Currently, Zipteam does not offer a self-service UI for IP restriction settings. To set up IP restrictions for your workspace, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Help > Contact Support (top-right corner of the Zipteam app)
  2. Send a request email with the following information:
    • Company Name
    • Admin’s Name
    • Admin’s Email Address
    • Workspace Name
    • Workspace ID

How to find your Workspace ID: Click your profile icon (top-right corner) → Settings > WORKSPACE > Workspace Settings. The Workspace ID will be listed there.

  1. Submit CIDER ranges (e.g., 192.168.0.0/24) to us via our secure file sharing system.
    • Our support team will provide access to the file sharing system for secure transmission.
  2. Our support team will apply the configuration to your workspace and confirm once the restrictions are active.

Important Notes : You may update or remove authorized IPs by contacting the support team again.

By requesting IP restrictions through our support team, you can significantly improve your organization’s control over who can access your Zipteam workspace and from where.
